by Kudakwashe MuzoriwaSaudi Aramco has entered a sponsorship deal with Formula 1, the state-owned energy giant will become the motor racing sport’s sixth global partner alongside DHL, Emirates, Heineken, Pirelli and Rolex.
The sponsorship agreement includes the oil firm’s corporate trackside branding, title rights to the US, Spanish and Hungarian Grands Prix in 2020 and Formula 1’s integrated digital platforms and broadcasts will also feature Saudi Aramco.
Amin H. Nasser, Saudi Aramco President and CEO, said, “As the world’s largest energy supplier and an innovation leader, we have the ambition to find game-changing solutions for better-performing engines and cleaner energy.’
The two entities plan to identify opportunities for the advancement of sustainable fuels, enhanced engine efficiencies and emerging mobility technology.
