by Kudakwashe MuzoriwaCapital Bank of Jordan (CBoJ) has partnered with Backbase to implement a complete digital overhaul as the bank moves to offer services and products that are customer-centric, and evolve around the daily needs of customers.
The bank adopted the Backbase Digital-First Banking Platform and the project seeks to deliver new digital experiences for corporate banking, mobile banking and web applications for retail banking.
Isam Samara, Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications at Capital Bank of Jordan, said, “As a financial services player one of our core aims is to serve our clients digitally and we have started the project after a careful gathering of clients’ needs and requirements which formulated our roadmap.”
Additionally, the National Bank of Iraq also completed upgrading its digital capabilities using the Backbase Digital-First Banking Platform, which offered the lender the ability to scale and adapt to the industry’s evolving needs.
Backbase stated that it National Bank of Iraq helped develop technical expertise for the bank’s teams on agile best practises, allowing them to better serve their customers and capitalise on the platform’s capabilities.
