UK publishes sovereign Sukuk consultation paper
The UK government has released a consultation on the subject the much talked-about sovereign Sukuk. There has been considerable speculation in Islamic finance circles as to the structure of the Sukuk, when it is likely to be issued, the size of the Sukuk and the application of tax laws.
