Kuwait market declines by 2.31 per cent in May

This followed a decline of 0.75 per cent in April. The decline was mainly due to dip in the Global Banking Index which declined by 7.79 per cent during the month. The market capitalisation reached $230 billion at the end of the month, registering a decline of 0.98 per cent as compared to the previous month.
