Citi to offer new range of specialist services to Middle Eastern clients

Citi has announced that it is going to begin providing on-shore agency and trust capabilities to clients in the Middle East, although it will initially focus on the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait. Citi opened several new branches in Qatar and Kuwait in 2007 and is now extending its services to Shari’ah compliant escrow services, settlement agent and security agent roles.
