Securities & Investment Company announces net profit of BHD 3.078 million for the year ending 2009
Net interest income during the year increased to BHD 1.7 million ($4.5 million compared to the result in 2008 of BHD 1.1 million ($2.9 million), while fee and commission income decreased to BHD 2.4 million ($6.4 million) compared with BHD 2.8 million ($7.4 million) in 2008. Brokerage and other income fell to BHD 1.5 million ($3.98 million) compared with BHD 3.7 million ($9.8 million) in 2008. Net Investment income stood at BHD 795,000 ($2.1 million) recovering from a loss of BHD 3 million ($7.96 million) in 2008.
