CEO of Noor Islamic Bank says UAE banks could need more state cash

The fresh funding would come on top of AED 120 billion already injected into the UAE banking system since 2008. “The banking sector in the UAE needs continued capital injection,” Al Qemzi, who is Group Chief Executive, Noor Islamic Bank and Noor Investment Group, was quoted as saying by The National. “I can say we need another AED 20 billion to AED 25 billion.”
