Ethical investment hits record $18 billion in UK

Latest figures released today by EIRIS, the London based non-profit sustainable investment specialists, show that as at 31 December 2007 there was nearly £8.9 billion ($17.6 billion) invested in Britain’s green and ethical retail funds, for example those funds open to the general public.
