Business confidence up in five out of six GCC countries

The quarterly HSBC Gulf Business Confidence Index, compiled by YouGov, for the second quarter of 2009 shows the overall Index has risen from 74.8 to 79.4, a rise of almost five points, the largest movement of the index in a single quarter since the major collapse in confidence that took place in the fourth quarter of 2008.
