GCC banks accommodate smoothly to Basel III says Kuwait Central Banker

KUNA, the Kuwait state news agency reports that the Governor of the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) Dr. Mohammad Youssof Al-Hashel said GCC banks face no problem in implementing Basel III. Thanks to their strong financial positions and high solvency rates, GCC banks, particularly Kuwaiti banks, will be able to implement the reforms envisaged in Basel III before the set deadline, he said.
