Dow say public-private partnerships will drive economic growth in the Middle East through sport

As Qatar and the wider Middle East region continues to increase its position as a host destination for world sporting events, the role that both public and private organizations have to play is key to drawing investment, according to Marko Blagovic, global sports marketing director, The Dow Chemical Company (Dow). Blagovic presented at the annual Doha GOALS Forum in Qatar on 10 December and took part in a panel discussion on the ways in which public-private partnerships can support the creation of infrastructure and facilities and also inspire youth and the next generation of local sporting heroes.
