New light weight long life laptop hits the markets

The latest laptop kid on the block from HP is the HP Mini 2140. It comes with an all-aluminium case instead of the usual cheap-looking plastic that many other brands of laptops come covered in, which hopefully won’t explode into a thousand tiny plastic fragments when it is dropped. Carrying an un-bagged laptop around as a show off toy is becoming something of a yuppie trend these days, so an aluminium case means that buttered fingered users out there are more likely to have a laptop that still works if they drop it.
