Bank of Sharjah sells 30 per cent of Emirates Lebanon Bank

Emirates Lebanon Bank is a subsidiary of Bank of Sharjah based in Beirut. It was formed in September 2008 when Bank of Sharjah took over the operations of the Lebanese branches of Banque Nationale de Paris Intercontinentale. Bank of Sharjah owns 81 per cent, while BNPI France hold 19 per cent.
