Moody's says global crisis is affecting liquidity in the UAE banking sector
Funding and liquidity pressures stress the need for a long-term funding market. The financial sector of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) cannot remain immune to the global financial crisis, and Moody's Investors Service will therefore continue to monitor the liquidity profile of UAE banks. This is the key message of a new report by Moody's entitled “The Impact of the Global Crisis on Liquidity of UAE Banks'”.
