Central Bank of Kuwait tells banks to 'seriously look' at mergers
Speaking to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Salem said, “I have said on more than one occasion that it is important for our local banks to seriously look into the issue of mergers as one choice for establishing financial entities of strong financial stature, and having the ability to compete and endure the risks of banking operations.”
