Banque du Liban Governor Salamé refutes money laundering claims

Lebanese central banker Riad Salamé has denied claims of money laundering and money smuggling from Syria into Lebanese banks. Speaking to Beirut-based Al-Mayadeen satellite TV channel, he said, “What is being said about smuggling of money from Syria to Lebanese banks is false.”
