Mergermarket reports MENA deal activity sharply down in 2011
Deal activity in Africa and the Middle East in 2011 had a total value of $38.5 billion, a decrease of 28.9 per cent compared to 2010 ($54.2 billion), and the lowest value since 2009 ($32.4 billion).
