IMF boss calls for quick, cooperative action to tackle global downturn
The world must act quickly, forcefully and cooperatively to contain the ongoing financial and economic downturn, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), said in an address at the Peterson Institute for International Economics.
