Joining the dots... connecting Islamic finance
HE Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali, President, the Islamic Development Bank Group gave a speech at the 3rd Annual World Islamic Banking Conference Asia Summit, entitled Strengthening International Connectivity to Enable Further Growth of the Islamic Financial Industry. Speaking on behalf of HE Dr. Halim Alamsyah, Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia, Edy Setiadi, Executive Director of the Directorate of Islamic Banking, Bank Indonesia delivered a paper entitled Global Interconnectivity to Enhance Islamic Finance Growth which outlined three forms of international connectivity.
