Amlak Finance and Tamweel in merger talks
Amidst increasing talk of consolidation amongst banks in the region, particularly the UAE, Amlak Finance and Tamweel, two real estate finance providers in the UAE, both of which are listed on the Dubai Financial Market, said they have begun exploratory discussions for a possible merger of their respective operations.
