UBS opens equity research office in Dubai
UBS Investment Bank is about to open an equity research office in Dubai to cover stocks both in the UAE and across the broader GCC region. The announcement is the latest move by UBS who are significantly expanding Middle East operations to accelerate growth. Per Larsson, late of the DIFX, is joining as MENA chief executive, but the bank was reluctant to say how much he is being paid. Larsson takes up his position on 1 October.
