Private equity fundraising remains weak in Q4 2011
Some $52.4 billion was raised by 108 private equity funds in Q4, a similar total to Q3, which was the weakest quarter since the onset of the financial crisis; annual fundraising total reaches just $262.6 billion as 603 funds hold a final close in 2011.
