Lisa Martin, Founder, The Counting House
Lisa Martin is the founder of The Counting House FZE, a small, approachable firm supporting SMEs with systems implementation and bookkeeping in the run up to the introduction of VAT in the GCC.
She’s a PWC-trained Chartered Accountant with six years in practice and a further 25 years commercial finance experience. Before moving to Dubai in 2009 Lisa held senior finance roles with Visa Inc, Amazon and Electronica Arts, which gave her extensive VAT exposure.
She prides herself on being an accountant with a personality.
Simran is extremely passionate about “xcelerating entrepreneurship” and has spoken at DMCC, TiE, Dine, Asentiv Community on cash flow, VAT and how to build to sell, and regularly conducts modules on ‘Accounting for Non Accounting' for her clients.
