GCC markets retrace gains in April, led by Saudi Arabia
GCC markets were down in April, reports Kuwait Financial Centre S.A.K. (Markaz), losing 3.2 per cent following an increase of 6 per cent in March and 7.6 per cent in February. Saudi Arabia dragged the markets, losing 3.6 per cent for the month while it is up 18 per cent YTD. Qatar, which lost 1.2 per cent in April, was the only GCC market with a YTD loss. Oman remained in the green, and witnessed a 3.2 per cent gain last month.
