Middle East companies fail at social media
Bayt.com’s latest poll, Corporate Usage of Social Media in the Middle East, shows the majority of respondents (46.8 per cent) believe that social media is not being used effectively by the region’s companies. Eight out of every ten respondents (81.6 per cent) claim that the potential for social media to damage a company’s reputation is one of the biggest challenges to overcome, suggesting that proper education in the medium is essential for success.
