Tunisia rises from the ruins of Carthage
After recording an annual increase in real gross domestic product (GDP) of 4.6 per cent in 2008, Tunisia has experienced an economic slowdown since early 2009, in particular a significant decline in its exports, as the international economic environment has deteriorated.
