Minimising the impact of DDoS attacks
During the first quarter of 2012, more than six of Prolexic Technologies’ global financial services clients received significant Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. As a result of this spike in DDoS activity, Prolexic Technologies is recommending that all online businesses should develop a ‘mitigation playbook’ to minimize the disruption and confusion that typically occurs at the outset of a DDoS attack.
