Crude oil prices rise as fundamentals tighten, geopolitical concerns resurface

Crude oil prices have rebounded to well above $100 as sanctions on Iran and falling North Sea output have tightened market fundamentals. Hopes of further policy stimulus to boost the global economy have also increased, said Daniel Kaye, Senior Economist at National Bank of Kuwait.
