H.H. Sheikh. Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan is also the Minister of Education and Scientific Research, UAE. He is also the Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University, the President of Zayed University, and the Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology. He plays a major role in policy formulation related to the economic and social development of the UAE and is actively involved in formulating and implementing policies for education and human resource development in the country. Sheikh Nahayan is also Chairman of CERT (Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training), the commercial arm of the Higher Colleges of Technology.
