Solved! Case of the vanishing dosh
Picking up from a blog I did a few weeks ago on how expats like myself can get money to the folks back home, (see ‘Special FX: Mysterious vanishing Forex’ 27 January 2011) this was the week I tested a new method of sending money back home to Mum in the hope of bypassing the gut-kicking costs that sees a punch-packing amount of your dosh just vanish into a pit of fees, spreads, commissions etc.
