Talk to the hand

Some banks want to be seen as being close to the customer, so they go and spend stupid amounts of money on all sorts of silly toys and gewgaws that look cute, but have no real practical use beyond creating a bit of bemused curiosity on the part of the customer (who would rather spend his time on Facebook or elsewhere, like feeding the kids or seeing grandma in hospital).
