Sorry seems to be the hardest word!
He said he was ‘sorry’. Perhaps if he had said he was ‘very, very, very sorry’ and promised never to do it again he would have got a smaller sentence. Bernie Madoff is heading for the ‘big house’ and is unlikely to see daylight ever again as a free man.
