The business language of today
If time is money, then speed is everything. Fast food, fast cars, speed dating and instant messaging have all become the norm in the life of the average under pressure executive. Even the English language has been abridged and compressed to make it more efficient for time-starved executives. It is not unusual to hear some stressed executive yelling over the phone that he wants it done asap!, instead of ‘as soon as possible please.’
